We are based in the Hazlemere Memorial Hall within the Hazlemere Recreational Ground, where we have access to a purpose built facility towards the back of the building.
We take children from 3 months until they go to school, and it is essential that we provide opportunities for children to learn and develop appropriately for their current age. With this in mind, we ensure our children are utilising all available space and areas to ensure small group activities can be carried out within their own age groups.
Snack and lunch times are similar to ensure children of different ages can be either supported or allowed to develop more independence, such as self serving or laying the table.
The Garden
Our outside area is a safe, enclosed, area which is accessed directly from the both ground floor rooms which allows children choice as to play indoors or out.
This area provides opportunities for children to climb, mark make, use their imaginative play as well as make wonderful mud pies within the mud kitchen area. There is a cycle track where children can learn to balance and pedal in a safe and secure area. Road safety rules are learnt in a practical manner as it contains pedestrian crossings and working traffic lights.
