Our Staff

We firmly believe that our staff is our most valuable asset. We choose them for their caring attitude, playful natures and dedication to childcare, as well as their experience and qualifications. Our knowledgeable and enthusiastic team gives our children the best chance to achieve their potential. The vetting procedure for our staff employment is strict and includes Police Checks (DBS) and references.

Little Cherubs operates a continuous in-house training program as well as additional external courses to improve the quality of care offered to our children.

Staff Ratios:
Little Cherubs work to a high ratio of staff to children to ensure your child has the best level of care. The ratios differ according to the age group of children:

Under 2:                1 adult to 3 children

2 to 3 years old:   1 adult to 4 children

3 years +:               1 adult to 8 children

First Aiders:
The nursery will always have a qualified Pediatric First Aider onsite. There is a first aid box complying with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 which is kept in an accessible place out of the reach of children. We also have a Health and Safety officer who makes sure all the H&S needs of the nursery are up to date.

Buckinghamshire County Council Early Years Team:
Little Cherubs works hand in hand with the Early Years Team at Buckinghamshire County Council, which gives parents peace of mind that the care offered to their children is of the highest standard.

Manager

Katie Savage

Katie joined the sister company in 2010 and now confidently runs our Hazlemere nursery.  Katie holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare.  She has a firm vision of what makes a good nursery and combines flexibility for the parents and support for the staff with a fun, caring and high quality experience for all of the children.

Heather Price

Heather has worked within Little Cherubs Day Nursery since March 2009.  Heather has worked with all age groups within the nursery, as well as having two children of her own.  She also leads our Preschool room, supporting children in their learning with fun and exciting activities.  

Baby Room Leader

Mehvish Jabeen

Mehvish has been part of the team since 2017 and confidently leads our baby room team.  Mehvish holds an NVQ level 3 and has several years experience with our younger children.  Mehvish’s team ensures our babies are cared for in a very homely environment where they feel safe and secure and they make sure that the babies have lots of outdoor opportunities and adventures out.

Preschool Room Leader

Georgia Coker

Georgia has been with us since 2016 and confidently leads our Preschool room as well as working closely alongside Katie and Heather. Georgia holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare and loves providing the children with lots of fun experiences and activities to help them towards their next stage of development.
